I grew up in Albany, N.Y., a city steeped in politics, and took my first newspaper job as a clerk at the Times Union while studying at the University of Albany. Since then I've written about local, state and national politics -- from City Hall in Indianapolis to the White House -- and currently cover the Supreme Court for CNN.
